These terms apply when you use this website or buy from us. "We" and "us" mean the business that runs this website. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns, Refunds and Warranty policy are part of them.

Using this site

To order from us, you must be at least the age of majority in the state where you live.

Do not use the site for anything unlawful, to send false information, to upload viruses or harmful code, to get around its security, or to collect other people's information. We may refuse service to, or block, anyone who does.

Your logo, text and files

You confirm that you have the right to use the names, logos, trademarks, fonts and images you send us, and to have a sign made from them. We do not check who owns them.

We may decline to make a sign that we believe infringes someone else's rights or is unlawful. If we decline an order you have paid for, we refund your payment in full.

Files you send stay yours. You allow us to use them to make your drawing and your sign, and to fill your order.

Products, drawings and photos

Some photos on this website illustrate the product type rather than show a sign we made for a customer.

The drawing and the lit preview show the design, the sizes and the colors as closely as we can. Colors on a screen, and the color of acrylic or vinyl when it is lit, can differ, so the finished sign will not look exactly like the preview. Small differences in color and brightness between letters are normal.

Our guides, size charts and tools, such as the letter height calculator, the price estimator and the sign preview, are general guidance. Check your wall, your viewing distance and any rules from your landlord or city before you approve your drawing.

Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars, and prices on this website can change at any time. The price estimator shows an estimate; the exact price comes with your drawing. You pay the price on your drawing or written quote or, if you choose Buy now or buy parts from our shop, the price shown at checkout.

Sales tax, where it applies, is calculated at checkout. Shipping costs are explained in our Shipping Policy.

Payments are processed by Stripe, by card or by the other payment methods shown on the payment page.

If we find an error in a price or a description after you order, we contact you before we build or ship. You can then accept the corrected order, or cancel it and get a full refund.

How a custom sign order works

• You send your logo or text, your sizes and, if you can, a photo of your wall.
• We email you a drawing with a lit preview and the exact price.
• You ask for changes until the drawing is right. Changes before you approve are free.
• You approve the drawing and pay. If you chose Buy now and paid first, you still approve the drawing before we build anything.
• We build your sign to the approved drawing and ship it.

Check the drawing carefully before you approve it: the spelling, the sizes, the colors, the lighting and the mounting. By approving it, you confirm that it is correct, and we build your sign to it. We are not responsible for mistakes in a drawing you approved.

If you paid with Buy now and do not approve a drawing, we cancel the order and refund your payment in full.

After you approve, contact us within 1 business day for a small change, such as a color or the mounting. Once we start cutting, the sign is made to the approved drawing, and a change is quoted as a new part.

Cancellations

Custom signs: you can cancel at no cost until you approve the drawing. After you approve it, you can still cancel within 1 business day, before we start cutting, and we refund your payment in full. Once cutting has started, a custom sign cannot be canceled.

Parts and other items from our shop: you can ask us to cancel until your order ships. Once it has shipped, our Returns, Refunds and Warranty policy applies.

Production and delivery times

The times we give for drawings, production and delivery are estimates. If you have an opening date, tell us when you send your logo, and we tell you whether it can be met. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather or other events outside our control.

Installation, permits and electrical work

Installation, sign permits, landlord approval and the electrical connection are not included unless your order says so. You are responsible for getting the permits and approvals your sign needs and for installing it safely and according to local codes.

An outdoor sign that is hard-wired must be connected by a licensed electrician. Follow the mounting template and the instructions that come with your sign.

We are not responsible for damage caused by installation, mounting or wiring done by you or by others, or for damage to the wall or building the sign is mounted on.

Shipping, returns and warranty

How we ship is explained in our Shipping Policy. What can be returned, what to do if something arrives damaged and the warranty on our signs and parts are explained in our Returns, Refunds and Warranty policy.

Our content

The text, photos, guides and tools on this website belong to us or to those who license them to us. You may not copy, sell or republish them without our written permission.

The drawings we make stay ours until you order the sign. You may share your drawing with your landlord or your city to get approval for your sign.

If you send us ideas or suggestions about our site or products, we may use them without owing you anything.

Disclaimer

Apart from the commitments in these terms and our policies, including our warranty, this website and our products are provided "as is", without other warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that the site will always be available or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, such as lost profits, lost business, installation or labor costs, permit fees or damage to a building, arising from this website or our products. Our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to cover our losses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, if a third party makes a claim against us because of your breach of these terms, your violation of the law, or a name, logo or design you sent us that you did not have the right to use.

Third-party services and links

Payments are handled by Stripe, visit statistics by Google and deliveries by shipping carriers, and this website may link to other websites. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services; their own terms and policies apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state where our business is based and by applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first so we can try to solve it. Any dispute we cannot settle together will be handled in the courts of the state where our business is based, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it somewhere else.

Other terms

These terms, our policies, your order and, for a custom sign, your approved drawing are the whole agreement for your order. If your approved drawing or a written quote says something different from these terms, the drawing or quote applies to that order.

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we have not given it up.

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The version in effect when you place your order applies to that order.
